For the whole community

Everyone Deserves a Place to Play, Belong & Thrive.

Sports and recreation can create a sense of belonging, build confidence, encourage healthy routines, and bring people together across generations and backgrounds. Our future Sports & Recreation area is envisioned as a place for individuals rebuilding their lives, children and families, young adults, seniors, and neighbors throughout the community.

Whether someone is discovering a new activity, returning to fitness, or simply looking for friendship and a positive place to spend time, there should be room for them here.

Imagine if...

One Game Could Open a New Door.

Imagine You're Looking for Connection

You walk onto the campus feeling uncertain about where you fit. You join a pickup game, a walking group, or a beginner fitness class. You meet a neighbor, discover a new routine, and find a place where people know your name. What began as an afternoon of recreation becomes a source of confidence, friendship, and hope.

Imagine You're a Community Organization

Your nonprofit or recreation group wants to reach more people. Instead of building everything alone, you can explore shared facilities, coordinate schedules, recruit volunteers, and collaborate with nearby organizations in the Mall of Dreams.

Sometimes the first step toward a stronger future is simply having a place to belong.

Stronger together

Built Around Partnerships, Not Duplication.

Do Hard Things hopes to collaborate with established recreation organizations, coaches, instructors, schools, adaptive sports providers, and community groups. The goal is to make activities more accessible and connected, not to duplicate the good work already happening in our community.

Room for Every Stage of Life

We envision opportunities for individuals in reentry and recovery, families, youth, veterans, first responders, older adults, and anyone seeking healthy connection and recreation. Program offerings and facilities will be shaped by future partners, community needs, funding, and accessibility planning.

Help Bring Sports & Recreation to Life

This is a proposed part of the future Do Hard Things campus, not an operating sports facility. We welcome ideas and conversations with recreation nonprofits, instructors, volunteers, businesses, and donors interested in helping shape a welcoming community resource.
