Dream big. Gather together. Change lives.
Imagine a place where the entire community comes together—not just to attend an event, but to build friendships, celebrate milestones, share ideas, and create something extraordinary.
Explore the Vision ↓Our vision is for Community & Event Spaces to become one of the most vibrant, welcoming destinations on the Do Hard Things campus. We imagine beautiful, flexible places for intimate conversations and large celebrations alike—where neighbors, nonprofits, families, businesses, volunteers, and local leaders can meet on common ground.
The campus could host everything from a child's first performance to a regional nonprofit summit, a cultural festival, a fundraiser, a wedding, a community dinner, or a gathering that sparks a new partnership.
An elegant, adaptable ballroom envisioned for charity galas, auctions, donor dinners, banquets, conferences, awards, and major community gatherings—giving other foundations a beautiful place to bring their supporters together.
A place to envision concerts, performances, storytelling nights, outdoor movie screenings, and seasonal celebrations under the stars.
Open spaces for farmers markets, holiday festivals, cultural celebrations, local makers, food events, and family fun.
Flexible meeting areas for nonprofit workshops, leadership gatherings, community forums, training, and mastermind events.
Welcoming settings for reunions, graduations, birthdays, milestone celebrations, weddings, and meaningful community traditions.
A professionally designed commercial kitchen envisioned to prepare and support meal service for events of up to 250 guests, including nonprofit galas, community dinners, volunteer appreciation, and catered gatherings. Final capacity will depend on professional design, equipment, and permits.
Imagine local nonprofits being able to host a polished fundraising gala without each organization needing to build its own ballroom or commercial kitchen. Our vision brings together flexible banquet seating, a stage, audiovisual capabilities, accessible facilities, catering and serving areas, and a professional kitchen planned around a 250-guest meal-service goal. The center could serve both formal fundraising evenings and everyday community celebrations. Event access, operating costs, and booking policies will be established as the project develops.
You arrive at a community celebration knowing almost no one. By the end of the evening, you've shared a meal, met a mentor, learned about a local organization, and found a new reason to feel hopeful about the future.
You're leading a nonprofit, launching a community initiative, or raising funds for a cause. You have access to a welcoming gathering place where you can host supporters, meet partners, share your mission, and reach people you might never have met otherwise.
Big things happen when people who care come together.
These spaces would be more than rentable rooms. They could be a shared resource for the nonprofits and organizations of the Mall of Dreams—hosting awareness campaigns, resource fairs, volunteer recruitment, benefit events, and collaborative programs. The goal is to make it easier for organizations to serve people, grow their reach, and work together.
Our planning vision includes accessible spaces, flexible layouts, welcoming outdoor areas, and opportunities for events at different scales. The specific facilities, capacity, scheduling, and use policies will be determined through future campus planning, community input, and partnerships.
Community & Event Spaces are part of our proposed future campus—not facilities currently open for bookings. We invite event professionals, community groups, artists, nonprofits, businesses, volunteers, and supporters to help shape the vision.
