The Mall of Dreams is our vision for a walkable campus that brings together Summit County’s nonprofit organizations, foundations, and community service providers. Each organization could have its own space—from storefronts in the central mall to larger, standalone buildings—creating a collaborative community where people can discover support, services, and opportunities.
You walk into a beautiful, welcoming mall—not knowing where to start. Instead of being handed a list of phone numbers, you find people ready to listen. A few steps away could be help with housing, healthcare, childcare, recovery, education, employment, or family support. You can meet people face-to-face and find your next step without having to navigate everything alone.
Your organization is doing meaningful work, but you need expertise, volunteers, funding connections, or another kind of support. Imagine walking down the promenade to speak with a neighboring nonprofit, learning from a more experienced leader, sharing resources, or building a joint solution to a challenge neither organization could solve alone.
Picture scheduled mastermind gatherings, workshops, and roundtables where nonprofit founders, board members, business leaders, and community experts share practical knowledge. Topics might include fundraising, governance, grants, financial stewardship, program design, volunteer recruitment, and measuring outcomes.
